Evanescence Partners With Women’s Own Worth “Music Heals” Initiative

The opportunity connects survivors and their supporters with artists willing to donate concert tickets and experiences that will last the group a lifetime.

W.O.W. domestic violence survivors and advocates meet Amy Lee of Evanescence

During the stop, the Band generously with provided Women's Own Worth concert tickets and an exclusive meet-and-greet.

Women's Own Worth founder Jajuan Archer, who has known Lee's family for years, said she was thrilled when she was granted support to further the organization's mission.

"Amy has a song. It's called 'Fight Like a Girl.' Hey, listen, girls are strong, and we want y'all to know that. And music heals. If you've been a victim of domestic violence and violence, crime, you know sometimes you can get down. Go to a concert. Listen to some music on your radio if you can't go to the concert. Music heals. You're worthy. Get empowered by the words of the songs that encourage us all," said Archer.

During the concert, Amy Lee also shared a message of encouragement with the audience.

"You aren't stupid for loving someone. But you don't have to go back. And it's infinitely better on the other side," Lee said from the stage.
